I stayed in the main building, which looked to be recently remodeled/updated. It was spacious, bright, and clean. I was very comfortable during my overnight stay. I would stay here again.
We were very pleased with the service while staying at Solano Inn in June this year. The hotel provides an excellent location for anyone attending a wedding at Saint Clements Castle and Marina. It is literally three-minute drive from Solano Inn to that beautiful wedding venue.
I just stayed here and had a great experience. I don’t know what it was like before, but it had obviously been recently redone because everything in the lobby and in the room appeared to be extremely new and impeccably clean. I was coming after work so I was not able to check in until after midnight, but I called ahead and the staff/owners were very nice and accommodating. I didn’t realize until the morning that I think they gave me the nicest room because it was a corner room so I had windows on two sides and a gorgeous view of the Connecticut River, so I’m grateful for that and wish I could’ve enjoyed that a little longer. My only critique, and it’s more of a preference I guess, is that the air fresheners were very strong so if you are sensitive to that, it could be a problem. I can be, but fortunately I woke up this morning with no headache and I was fine.
Absolutely love this Inn! Great price for what you get which is amazing service and clean, quiet and great area. There is a laundry room that is cheap and is a great addition if you need to do some quick laundry for under 5$!!! There's free coffee, creamer and sugar, also some water and utensils in the room upon arrival. You get a mini fridge and microwave along with a great TV which is roku so you can stream your favorite streaming application. Its a cozy place in a not so busy area its wonderful to go for walks outside with places to sit an have a picnic. Overall room was clean as well as the bathroom and I know some rooms are bigger and better according to the website when booking so check them out as well. Overall amazing place if you want a quiet lovely family run place to make your vacation safe, affordable and cozy.
